My name is Yasmeen, though most people know me as Yaz. My artist name is Glitchbie. I am a first-generation Lebanese woman residing in the United States, with my BFA in Digital Art and my minor in Illustration. I have experience with numerous programs and mediums, and my work ranges from anything between animation to character illustration, graphic design, and concept art.

With my experience, the themes I tend to lean towards are vibrant colors, intricate details, futurism as well as cyberpunk, and motion/movement. Making the viewer feel immersed in my work is what fuels my creative drive. 

I’ve achieved many of my creative aspirations, including being a vendor at multiple artist alley conventions as well as showcasing my artwork at galleries & art shows. In addition, I’ve completed my studies in digital art and have earned my degree. I also secured a position as a graphic designer allowing me to gain more cliental experience, have previously worked in a graphic design studio & lab, manage my own shop for my artwork, and study animation.

My goals going forward are to continue to build my skills and expertise in illustration, gain additional professional experience in graphic design principles and typography, and hope that creating an art book will come to fruition as I build on those skills. In the meantime, I am continuously seeking out opportunities to learn and discover more about digital processes on top of fulfilling my creative dreams.
